We were looking for a classic döner kebab lunch but instead stumbled upon warm hospitality and handmade Turkish cuisine. The owner and his son greeted us on Easter afternoon offering us samples, free tea and nice conversation. Instead of the kebab, he recommended we try the lahmacun, a Turkish style pizza and his favorite. Everything is made from scratch when ordered, chicken is cooked and seasoned, pitas are rolled and baked and the beef was slow cooked for over 10 hrs. It was fantastic and an overall amazing experience! The homemade baklava was the cherry on top! Couldn't recommend more for folks passing through town.- Service

This slow food at its best! Everything is prepared with care and attention to detail. The pita and lahmacun were hand pressed and freshly baked for our order. The meat was fresh and cooked to perfection. The baklava was exquisite. This was truly one of the best meals we had in Norway. Thank you Hasan! You are a great chef.

We came there after seeing someone trying Lahmacun on social media. It looked so good. The food is better than we expected. Very delicious food. The bread was crispy and the filling was fresh and sooo good. The owner is friendly and showed us how to eat it. He is very generous. We couldn't be happier. We will surely go back next time we're in Bergen!

Baklava and kadayif were both very well made. The service was great; the two men, Hasan and Mert, were very nice, polite, and accommodating. As someone of Turkish descent who grew up with this cuisine, I really can't fault the food or service. The sigara böregi was the best I've ever eaten. All in all, 10/10 food, 10/10 service, and by Norwegian standards, the ambiance was not upscale, but still good.- Mat

If you’re looking for a high-class restaurant, the atmosphere here will disappoint you; it’s small and very basic. But the food - at least the dish I had - was amazing and well worth the price.- Service

Trust the rating! We held out for this place and walked past a few other ratings and were so glad we did. Hassan immediately made us feel at home and suggested that we eat his Lahmacun in. We had wanted Borek but were so glad we followed his advice - the Lahmacun was extremely flavourful and fresh and was served with a lovely bit of salad. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Bergen ❤️

In a one week trip we were there 3 times. We had lahmacun and pide, both amazing, the amount of meat and other ingredients are impressive. The owner is very friendy, he knows what he is doing! Don't forget to finish up with tea and baklava.

Excellent Turkish food! Very high quality, fresh ingredients, handmade, and cooked perfectly. If you care about what you eat and the people who devote their lives to the best, this is the place. Try the Lahmacun, it's light and satisfying. The pita bread is freshly baked, just the right balance of crispy and soft. And finely crafted baklava! This is a hidden gem. Warm and friendly, you will feel welcome.

Really friendly. Small menu but delicious. There are a few tables to sit at to eat and wait. The staff were very helpful at adapting the menu for the children. The Baklava was really tasty too. Thank you very much.

Unassuming from the outside, absolutely amazing food! It says "fast food" but the owner prepares everything to order so it can take about 10-15 minutes to get your food but it's worth the wait.
